SHORT
DESCRIPTION
This is a record of the presentation made at the Seattle Perl Users Group (SPUG) in downtown Seattle on May 15, 2007.
Libre Services are an extension of the principles of free software into the domain of Internet services. The By* Family of Libre Services is a unified and non-proprietary set of Internet Application Services, for both individuals and businesses. By* Libre Services are based on 100% free software, which any company or organization can freely reproduce. This high-level overview presentation discusses this new services model from an engineering, societal and business perspective.
